Yusei Fudo is the main protagonist of the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Differently from the previous protagonists in the Yu-Gi-Oh! meta-series, Yusei is older and tends to be calm and cool much of the time, but just like them, he is always prone to make new friends and is determined to fight till the end to protect them. His friends also respect and admire him for his honor and great dueling skills.
